Our Wisd WiseTherm heating mantles are the solution for nearly all applications where a probe or mixture needs to be exactely warmed or heated insides its vessel.

Because our heating mantles reach temperatures up to 450°C (high temperature models even up to 650°C), a perfect fit for the sample vessel is very important. We offer you the maximum flexibility and present you heating mantles which are usable for round flasks, pear shaped flasks, beakers and reaction vessels.

Use our Wisd WiseTherm heating mantle models for the following vessels:

• round flask with 50ml, 100ml, 250ml, 500ml, 1000ml, 2000ml, 3000ml, 5000ml, 6000ml
• round flask, big volume with 10l, 20l 50l 100l

Please recognize, that you need to use only heat resistand glass vessels, like DURAN®, IWAKI®, PYREX®, Kimble®, or other borosilicate 3.3 glass. Vessels made of soda-glass are not usable with our heating mantles.

For the high-temperature models up to 650°C you can only use vessels made of quartz-glass, or other high-temperature resistant glass, because also borosilicate glass is for such high temperatures unsuitable.

For the housings of our Wisd WiseTherm heating mantles we use aluminium respectively steel. Especially at the heating mantles for big vessel volumes, stability against weight and stability against collapse are major important product features. Our Wisd WiseTherm heating mantles you will get in diverse versions. Choose the model best fitting for your needs:

• heating mantle with remote digital feedback thermo controller with external temperature sensor for measuring inside the smaple vessel.

To our Wisd WiseTherm heating mantles we pay attention for best possible user safety and simple controlling free of errors. However we want to declare you, our customer, that heating mantles because of their build technique have some potential dangers, which are never removable. For your safety we want to give you some basic rules by hand, as checklist for the usage of our heating mantles:

• Requirement for trouble-free usage of the heating mantle is its perfect condition. Check you heating mantle always befor usage. If you recognize wetness or damaged tissue inside the heating mantle, you should never operate the device. In this case request a service for your heating mantle an let us check and repair your device.
• Operate our heating mantle only an power supplies equipped with Residual Current protective Device (RCD)
• Heat up the heating mantle never without vessel, it could overheat and burn through. In addition an acute danger arises, to burn one?s fingers at the inside.
• Use exclusively heat resistant glass vessels and never simple "dishes"-glass, it could burst explosively.
• because of its build technique a heating mantle can not be protected against intruding of liquids. work extremely carefully and avoid absolutely intruding of liquids inside the heating mantle. There is a danger of an electrical shock.
• If a glass vessel should burst and your sample intrudes the device, in no case touch the device, it could be current-carrying. Trigger the fuse and the Residual Current protective Device inside the fuse box to deactivate the device definitely and next pull the plug out of the power supply bevor touching the device.
• Do not heat up more than neccessary. This acts for your safety and reduces simultanously the power consumption of the heating mantle.
